Reliant Plastics’ Injection Molding Machines

Our plastic injection molding machines are the tools that keep Reliant Plastics running — and your production schedules running, too. We’ve invested in a diverse portfolio of machines that support a wide range of molded parts, materials, and production requirements. Our equipment allows us to meet tight tolerances, manage complex geometries, and support industries operating in demanding environments.

Take a look at our machines and learn about their capabilities.

Our Machines at a Glance

Low-Tonnage Machines (Approximately 38–100 Tons)

Our low-tonnage machines are ideal for creating small plastic parts, tight-tolerance components and lightweight packaging and consumer items. These machines play a critical role in supporting shorter cycle times and high-precision molding. We operate:
  • Arburg 38-Ton
  • Mits. MJ 90-Ton

Mid-Tonnage Machines (Approximately 110–400 Tons)

Mid-tonnage machines serve multiple purposes, like creating complex molded parts and multi-cavity tools. They are frequently used for both industrial and consumer applications. In our portfolio of machinery, mid-tonnage machines offer the optimal balance of flexibility and throughput. We selected the following machines so our customers get the best results:
  • Milacron Q125 125-Ton
  • KM 140 150-Ton (2 machines, same specs, different ages)
  • Milacron Q170 170-Ton (3 machines, different specs)
  • Milacron Q200 200-Ton
  • KM 180-B 200-Ton
  • Mits. MJ II 210-Ton
  • Arburg 220-Ton (4 machines, some with slightly different specs)
  • Milacron Q260 260-Ton
  • Mits. MJ 265-Ton
  • Milacron Q315 315-Ton
  • Mits. MJII 320-Ton
  • Mits. MJ 390-Ton
  • Milacron Q400 400-Ton

High-Tonnage Machines (Up to Approximately 950 Tons)

Certain design applications require high-tonnage machines. We use this set of machines to create large plastic parts, structural components, and any other applications that require high clamp force. What is most appealing about high-tonnage machines is that they support demanding molds while maintaining consistent part quality. Our high-tonnage machines include:
  • Milacron Q600 610-Ton
  • Mits. MJ 610-Ton
  • Mits. MMJW 720-Ton
  • Mits. MJ 950-Ton

Reliant Plastics’ Injection Molding Equipment Advantage

Creating top-tier plastic parts depends considerably on the machine. We’ve selected this portfolio of machines because they meet the demands of our widely varied client portfolio and offer precision clamping units, advanced injection units, temperature control systems, and reliable ejection systems.

All of these elements must come together when creating plastic parts. Clamping force, for example, determines the difference between a defective or a defect-free injection molded part. Temperature control systems determine the difference between properly melted pellets and the corresponding viscosity of the molten plastic.

While we rely on our machines, we support our machinery with rigorous expert oversight and management. Our team is part of the larger, metaphorical well-oiled machine of Reliant Plastics. Where machines support production, the team also does, reviewing production plans to ensure every aspect is addressed, from plastic pellet selections to quality control and inspection.

Our vast portfolio of machinery has many additional benefits for our customers, too, including:

Fastest Availability

A broad range of machine tonnage and configurations gives Reliant the ability to schedule work efficiently, leading to shorter lead times, faster transitions between jobs, and reliable scheduling for ongoing production.

Maximum Flexibility

Reliant’s machines are designed to process a wide range of plastic pellets, from commodity resins to advanced engineered materials. This flexibility allows us to support applications across aerospace, oil & gas, industrial components, consumer products, and many more.

Highest Performance

Consistent part quality depends on machine stability. Precise control systems, robust clamping units, and accurate injection units work together to maintain repeatable molding conditions.
